Pastor Mike & Traci Tanksley have served in many areas of ministry before joining River of Life Church, North Canton, in 2010. Prior to accepting the call to Pastor the congregation in 2017, Pastor Mike first served on the Worship Team while also assisting the Ministry team, and Traci served in the Children’s Ministry.

Pastor Mike is credentialed with the Gospel Ministers & Churches International.

Mike and Traci have been married since July 5, 1997, and have three children: Stephanie Tortola (married to Joe), Ryan Tanksley (married to Teresa), and Dawson Tanksley. They are blessed to have five grandchildren, Ariel, Sydney, Nik, Luke, and Rylee, and three great-grandchildren, Dustin, Dalton, and Dutton.

Pastor Mike and Traci have a desire to see individuals come to know the Lord and disciple them so they have a foundation in Christ to build upon. River of Life is a “Christ-Centered Church” where everyone is welcomed and you can get involved in ministering to the community. We are independent and not part of any organization, and most importantly, we love to give Jesus Christ the praise and honor he deserves.
